The architecture consists of three main components:
- Headquarters / Data Center: Hosts core business systems and enterprise data, while providing centralized management and support.
- Cloud Management Platform: Provides unified network management, policy configuration, security control, monitoring, and intelligent operations for all stores.
- Branch Stores: Connect securely and efficiently to headquarters and cloud services through SD-WAN.
The solution uses Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) across hybrid links such as MPLS, broadband internet, and 5G. SD-WAN selects the best path according to application requirements and link quality, protects critical traffic, and provides link redundancy to improve availability and resilience.
Core Functions and Technical Implementation
1. Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP)
After a branch device is powered on, ZTP automatically retrieves its configuration from the cloud-management platform. New-store deployment is reduced from days or weeks to minutes, without requiring professional IT staff on site.
2. Application-Aware Routing
SD-WAN identifies and classifies traffic such as POS transactions, ERP, video surveillance, VoIP, and guest Wi-Fi. Policy-based routing assigns priority bandwidth and superior links to critical applications so that they remain stable even during congestion.
3. SASE Security Architecture
As applications move to the cloud, conventional perimeter security is no longer sufficient. Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) integrates firewalling, intrusion prevention, content filtering, anti-malware, and WAN services to provide consistent cloud-delivered protection for all branches. Security inspection at the edge or in the cloud reduces risk at each store.

4. Full-Scenario Wi-Fi Coverage

VLAN isolation and policy controls separate the employee network used for POS and inventory systems from the guest marketing network.
