At its core, an AMD 7272 12-core processor with 64 GB system memory and 900 GB onboard SSD drives a modern CPU architecture paired with purpose-built cryptographic acceleration hardware.
Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) software delivers 10 Gbps NGFW throughput with all services enabled, 10 Gbps IPS throughput, and 3.2 Gbps TLS inspection for deep visibility into encrypted traffic.
