The FPR3130-NGFW-K9 series is ideal for large enterprise internet edge gateway protection, data center perimeter security, and high-scale remote access VPN headend deployments requiring 38 Gbps of sustained inspection throughput with 25G connectivity. For the ASA-only version (Layer 3/ 4 stateful inspection without NGFW capabilities), the FPR3130-ASA-K9 variant is available. For higher throughput requirements (up to 45 Gbps), the Secure Firewall 3140 is recommended.
