Performance & Stacking
The switch delivers 2,000 Gbps standalone switching capacity and 1,488 million packets per second (Mpps) forwarding rate; when stacked, these scale to 3,000 Gbps and 2,232 Mpps. StackWise-1T technology provides up to 1 Tbps stacking bandwidth, supporting up to eight switches with NSF/SSO for sub-50-ms failover protection. The platform includes 16 GB DRAM, 16 GB flash, 32,000 MAC addresses, 4,094 VLANs, 32 MB packet buffer, and 9,198-byte jumbo frame support.

Built on the Cisco UADP 2.5sec ASIC and Cisco IOS XE, the switch includes hardware-based AES-256 MACsec encryption and 100G line-rate IPsec acceleration with HSEC license. Available with Network Essentials (-E) for foundational Layer 3 routing, or Network Advantage (-A) for full BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, VRF-Lite, VXLAN EVPN, and MPLS.
