The switch features 48 x 10GBASE-T multigigabit downlink ports supporting 10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M auto-negotiation rates, providing the bandwidth necessary to power next-generation wireless access points and high-speed wired endpoints. It is a data-only model with no Power over Ethernet capability. For uplink connectivity, a modular slot accepts C9300X-NM series network modules with flexible options including 10G SFP+, 25G SFP28, 40G QSFP+, and 100G QSFP28. The switch delivers 1,760 Gbps standalone switching capacity (2,760 Gbps when stacked) with a forwarding rate of 1,309 million packets per second (Mpps). StackWise-1T technology provides up to 1 Tbps of stacking bandwidth, supporting up to eight switches in a single logical stack.
Built on the Cisco UADP 2.0sec ASIC, the switch includes line-rate AES-256 MACsec hardware encryption and 100 Gbps hardware-based IPsec for secure edge connectivity.
