Juniper Networks EX3400-24P Ethernet Switch

The Juniper EX3400-24P is a 1U fixed-configuration access switch that builds on the EX2300 with higher performance and a redundant, hot-swappable power supply option. It provides 24 built-in 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports and four 1/10GbE SFP+ uplink ports, targeting larger campus access deployments that need PoE-plus and non-blocking forwarding.

All 24 RJ-45 ports support PoE (IEEE 802.3at, up to 30 W per port) for a total budget of 720 W. The EX3400 delivers a switching capacity of 144 Gbps with 214 Mpps of forwarding, and can join a Juniper Virtual Chassis of up to 10 members (using the EX3400's Virtual Chassis capability) for unified management. Two load-sharing, hot-removable AC PSUs (JPSU-920-AC-AFO) provide redundant power.

With MACsec on all ports and a 1U footprint, the EX3400-24P is positioned for secure, high-density access where the EX2300's capacity or single-PSU design is insufficient. In addition to the four SFP+ uplinks, the switch provides two 40GbE QSFP+ uplink ports for high-speed aggregation to the distribution or core layer.
