Product Overview
The Juniper EX3400-24T is the non-PoE sibling of the EX3400-24P: a 1U fixed-configuration access switch with 24 built-in 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports and four 1/10GbE SFP+ uplink ports, but without PoE powering of endpoints. It is aimed at access closet ports that feed non-powered devices or uplinks.
Like the rest of the EX3400 family it delivers 144 Gbps switching capacity and 214 Mpps of forwarding, runs Junos OS, and supports Virtual Chassis aggregation of up to 10 members. Two redundant, hot-swappable AC PSUs provide resilient power for the switch itself.
The EX3400-24T is the right choice where endpoint PoE is not needed but the higher capacity and redundant PSUs of the EX3400 line are desired over the EX2300. In addition to the four SFP+ uplinks, the switch provides two 40GbE QSFP+ uplink ports for high-speed aggregation to the distribution or core layer.
