Juniper Networks EX3400-48P Ethernet Switch

The Juniper EX3400-48P is the high-density PoE access switch of the EX3400 family: a 1U fixed configuration with 48 built-in 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports and four 1/10GbE SFP+ uplink ports. With PoE on all 48 ports (IEEE 802.3at, up to 30 W each) it provides a substantial 1440 W total PoE budget for large wireless, VoIP and camera deployments.

The platform sustains 144 Gbps switching capacity and 214 Mpps of forwarding, runs Junos OS, and supports Virtual Chassis scale-out. Two redundant, hot-swappable AC PSUs (JPSU-920-AC-AFO) deliver the power needed for a fully loaded PoE chassis.

The EX3400-48P is designed for access closets that must power many endpoints while keeping a compact 1U footprint and 10GbE uplinks to the distribution layer. In addition to the four SFP+ uplinks, the switch provides two 40GbE QSFP+ uplink ports for high-speed aggregation to the distribution or core layer.
