Once the initial configuration is completed, VLANs can be created according to different network requirements. VLAN technology allows devices from different departments to be separated into independent networks, improving management efficiency and enhancing data security. For example, the finance department and office department can operate in different VLANs to reduce unnecessary network broadcasts.
Finally, the configuration should be saved and the switch should be tested to ensure that all interfaces communicate properly. If the network remains stable and data transmission works correctly, the installation can be considered successful.
