It leverages a full suite of advanced 802.11ax technologies-including uplink/downlink OFDMA, BSS coloring, and Target Wake Time (TWT)-to improve spectral efficiency, reduce latency, and extend client battery life.
For high-density environments, the C9120AXI integrates Cisco CleanAir technology powered by a dedicated RF ASIC, providing real-time spectrum intelligence to detect and mitigate RF interference automatically. The access point incorporates four integrated internal omnidirectional antennas (peak gain of 4 dBi at 2.4 GHz, 5 dBi at 5 GHz) for broad, consistent coverage.
Beyond Wi-Fi, the platform is IoT-ready with an embedded radio supporting Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy (BLE) and Zigbee, enabling location-based services, asset tracking, and custom IoT application hosting.
