Catalyst C9300-48T

The switch offers 48 x 10/100/1000BASE-T data-only ports, supporting high-density wired connectivity where Power over Ethernet is not required. A modular uplink slot accepts C9300-NM series network modules with flexible uplink speeds up to 100G(including 1G SFP, 10G SFP+, 25G, 40G, and 100G options), enabling investment protection as network demands grow. It delivers standalone switching capacity of 256 Gbps with a forwarding rate of 190.48 million packets per second (Mpps). StackWise-480 technology provides 480 Gbps stacking bandwidth, supporting up to eight switches per stack with NSF/SSO for sub-50-ms failover protection. The platform features 8 GB DRAM, 16 GB flash, a 16 MB packet buffer, 32,000 MAC address entries, 4,000 VLAN IDs, and jumbo frame support up to 9,198 bytes. A modular 350 W AC power supply is installed by default, with optional dual hot-swappable redundancy.

Built on Cisco IOS XE and the UADP 2.0 ASIC, the switch includes hardware-based AES-256 MACsec encryption, Encrypted Traffic Analytics (ETA), TrustSec, and 802.1X authentication. Available with perpetual Network Essentials (-E) licenses for foundational Layer 2/3 features (static routing, OSPF, EIGRP stub), or Network Advantage (-A) for full dynamic routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IS-IS), VRF-based multi-tenancy, and SD-Access automation. A Cisco DNA subscription is required for intent-based policy management.
